EA classics head for PSP

EA Replay revealed

Doing little to head-off critics of the PSP - disappointed with the lack of original titles being crafted for Sony's handheld - EA have announced a compilation pack of games for the system, with titles harvested in the main from the days of the SNES and the MegaDrive.

With Cannon Fodder having already been announced for the handheld, gamers of a certain age will no doubt also be pleased with the promise of Desert Strike, Jungle Strike and Road Rash. Not to mention the bike racers two sequels. Then there's the excellent Syndicate, as well as the first two Wing Commander outings. Virtua Pinball and Ultima: Black Gate are also being mooted.

The single-UMD compilation appears to go downhill a little from there, with Budokan, The Haunting Starring Polterguy, Mutant League Football and B.O.B. also making it on there. Whilst the games will differ little from their originals aesthetically, we are told to expect a few multiplayer modes - which could work very well in a number of the titles promised. EA Replay, as the pack will be known, will be out within the next month or two. Oh, and you'll be able to use proper saves, too - which is handy.
