Nintendo take focus off next-gen at E3
No Revolution, online service instead?
With the E3 show rapidly approaching and companies of all manner finalising their plans, it seems that despite previous statements implying the contrary, Nintendo will in fact not unveil their new Revolution console at the LA event. Instead, rolling-demos from the new hardware are reported to be en route, with boss Satoru Iwata concerned rivals may steal Ninty's best ideas at this early stage. So no new console or controller... maybe. As well as allowing Nintendo to leave the bickering to Sony and Microsoft with regard to the next-generation, this move will also allow Ninty to focus on their online service. Demonstrations of the long-awaited service are expected via the DS, and a May 17th conference should detail the Big N's plans.

It is expected that the Revolution console may include a wireless router for enabling DS net connectivity, but this is purely conjecture at the moment. What we do know is that a new Zelda game along with various new Pokemon offerings will be in attendance. When we'll now get a glimpse at the 'Revolution' remains to be seen, but we're still hopeful of something concrete at the expo. More soon.

theye sholud talk more about what is coming out.And they should grow up and make the next systemy for more like adelts not for littel kids who dont have jobs to even buy some of the stuied games they have out for it.the only games that are great are melee and zelda and some mario games but almost the rest are for littel kids and if they want to get any where they are going to have to step it up to the kids to the big boys!

nintendo arn't child orientated just because they dont have as many games like GTA or halo. anyway have you heard of a series called resident evil? thats not for children. Anyway, i think that nintendo can get away with not unveiling the revolution (i wouldnt put it past sony or microsoft to plagerise nintendos material) also the online service for the DS will attract lots of attention.
Not to mention that nintendo is the only compagny that has come up whit 3 popular VIOLENT video games that has been showned as movies on hollywood i'm talking about street fighter, mortal kombat and resident evil and a non violent one called final fantasy. Why is sony or x-box video games has never showned up as movies.

I believe that nintendo will release info on the revolution but not much untill released. We all should know that the DS will not stay for long because no one can have 2 portable systems. What? one will be uniqe and the other will have good graphics?
