Rockstar sign new music
GTA: San Andreas publisher's Rockstar are to partner with Interscope, a division of Universal, to provide the audio for this October's GTA release, which this time sports an early 90's setting. "Although we are keeping the specific details of the track listing under wraps for now, gamers can expect the full spectrum of the early '90s FM dial, both in the game and on the official soundtrack," a Rockstar representative commented to US publication GameSpot. "Over the next month or so leading up to the game's release, some details regarding some of the tracks in the game may be revealed."
"Through our partnership with Interscope Records, we are confident that the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack will continue to reach new standards of excellence and creativity and will exceed anything that the video game industry or Hollywood have ever produced in terms of size, scope, and depth," gushed an evidently rather pleased Terry Donovan, CEO of Rockstar Games.
Vice City's soundtrack was notably impressive at launch, and this new word from the publishers suggests the San Andreas' accompaniment might be even more so, especially given the implied breadth of this new deal - given that previous titles have been made in collaboration with Sony division Epic. More on this soon.

Who was the west coasts greatest rapper ever... who by the way was the best rapper in the early 90's... Tupac Shakur. Heard of him? well he recorded for Death row records, which is a division of interscope, Dre, snoop, EZE, and tupac, sounds like a great line up on any game ever espically in the early 90's east coast, west coast, bloods, crips, interscope works, its all good.
