Veteran games industry chief Ian Livingstone has told MCV that publisher Eidos' new studio-led structure is working a treat.

The company re-structured at great expense earlier this year, and has also received a huge amount of investment from Warner Bros in order to sure-up cashflow amid dwindling funds.

"We have been very upfront about what we are as a business and where we are going," offers Livingstone.

"We have put in place a studio-led and product-centric operation and everybody is now happily on board."

He continues, explaining in more depth: "This means bringing people closer to games so that the whole team offering can be creatively driven. Having a focused team based around our cornerstone franchises means one team based in the same office, country and time zone so that they can explore every opportunity directly alongside the game’s development."
