Sony Computer Entertainment America have this weekend publicly apologised for the issues gamers have experienced attempting to participate in the SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation public beta.

Frequent load issues, crashes, disconnections and more have become a problem because of high demand, with Sony's Seth Luisi stating that his team hope to have the beta up to speed by the end of the week.

"Due to overwhelming demand for the SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation Public Beta, we are experiencing load related issues," he admitted.

"These issues are causing abnormal latency, disconnects, long load times, login errors and community features such as clans and stats not functioning correctly (or at all). We are doing everything we can to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and you should see some improvements progressively over the next couple of days. However, we do not expect to have the issues completely resolved until close to the end of next week."

    really now, "cumbles"?
i been in beta since the 5th, disconnects, long load times & some lag...they will resolve these issues, that's what betas are for. i still managed to get some games in, idk if i'd use the term "cumbles"...

I've also been playing the beta since the 5th have noticed a few problems at least the log on doesnt fail as much as it used to the loading times of the game is a long wait but if they get all the problems sorted i think its going to be a good game. As a big fan of socom games i wasnt thinking that it would be up to much but i quite like it to be honest

the beta crashed? oh my! but seriously ppl we all knew something like this was gonna come. there were too many socom beta invites given out at 1 moment in time. and i dont know about u but when i got mine i instantly called up my friends and gave them my code for them 2 have. now think about it, if every1 did that were talking ten's of thousands possibly having access to the beta. If Slant Six was capable of withstanding half of that in just a "beta" that would have amazed me.
