Eden promise hefty AiTD PS3 changes
Many improvements revealed
Developer Eden have been taking on-board the negative feedback which engulfed Alone in the Dark's release on the Xbox 360, and have announced a rash of changes that will be put into effect for the game's PlayStation 3 debut.
For starters, the PS3 will be getting "full 360 degree camera control", while the camera will be enhanced for the first-person view, too. Likewise, the controls will be quicker and smoother; addressing another problem linked to the third-person camera.
Continuing the major changes, Eden will enhance the inventory system, adding the ability for players to combine items via the D-pad. There will also be more tips to help players stuck in certain situations.
The driving segments will also get an overhaul, including the handling, and the 59th street driving segment will be tweaked - adding in voice directions from Sarah. Lastly, episode six will get a whole new action sequence - created just for the PS3.
Can Alone in the Dark rise from the dead after all?

So are 360 owners no beta testers for other consoles games? I hope they release these fixes on the 360 or you can p*ss off Eden
Cool, Ps3 gets the game late and PS3 gets the better game. O well I might not even get this game but its will be good for alone in the dark fans.
Oh yeah that right! Dont forget say other big advantage, has less loading in ps3 grace hard disk
alone in the dark sucks!!!
I trade it in after 30 min of playing.
i played it on my 360, not impressed at all... even if the above faults are rectified it's still only going to be a so-so game. i can't see many ps3 owners jumping for it, especially considering the impressive lineup for that system in the coming months. resistance 2 and LBP may finally get me to bite for a PS3, especially if fable 2 turns out to be the piece of crap i suspect it might be (controversial statement, but come on: the first one was really pretty average, not nearly as good as xbox morrowind, and moreover the recently released pub games were *ABYSMAL*: even for minigames they were awful. doesn't say much for the dev's standards, however much of a legend P. Moleneux is meant to be)
