World at War gets UK date
Beta test set for Europe in October
So, it turns out that Call of Duty: World at War will not be getting a worldwide release on November 11th this year. In fact, it looks rather as if Europe might have to wait a few more days.
While we assume the US will be getting Treyarch's fifth installment in the long-running series on the 11th, the UK will get the new FPS on the 14th of November, according to a new press release by Activision Blizzard.
Europe will also be getting access to the World at War beta test, next month, on the PC and Xbox 360.
"The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can’t wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch," offered Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.
More World at War as it blasts our way.

Could it be they realised that releasing a war game on Remembrance Day was a teensy bit tactless?
