Square charging for Final Fantasy XIII demo?
So implies new tittle-tattle
Square Enix won't comment on rumours circulating online which suggest the Japanese publisher may look to charge players separately for playing the Final Fantasy XIII demo - beyond the full release.

It was originally hoped the Final Fantasy XIII taster would be included in the new Blu-ray release of Advent Children: Complete, which is set for release in March 2009 in Japan, however there is now doubt around this suggestion.
The demo will reportedly be 90 minutes long, and it looks like it'll be released somewhat later than March - Square Enix looking to earn a few bucks from this preview ahead of the long-awaited full game.
It is unclear if these Japanese-originating rumours will be mirrored in the West, but we'll keep you posted.

I hope they don't charge for it, but honestly I'd be more willing to pay $5 or so for the 90 minute demo than buy Advent Children on Blu-ray which will probably cost 3-6 times as much as the demo.
I'm sure there are a lot of PS3-less owners there looking to get one to play demos like FFXIII... if you still don't have one you might want to take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on where you can win one simply by designing a 6 Hour Power t-shirt. There are less than 250 entrants as of now, so check out the details here: http://www.brickfish.com/Entertainment/Stacker2?tab=overview
I work with 6HP, so let me know if you enter and I'd be happy to vote for your designs. Good luck, and shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions.
