Word in this afternoon informs us that Harmonix's Rock Band 2 will be getting several full albums when it launches in September (stateside at least).

Website EW.com report that the album The Colour and the Shape from Foo Fighters will be included, as well as Blood Sugar Sex Magik from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Peace Sells... But Who's Buying by Megadeth, Nothing's Shocking by Jane's Addiction and Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughn.

A Best of No Doubt collection will also be bundled in, and the tracks will no doubt enhance RB2's street cred, as well as giving EA/MTV's opus a couple of inches over Guitar Hero World Tour.

More on this as we get it.
