Free MMO dead?
It's not looking good for much anticipated free MMO Mythos after its beta test servers went offline.
The games future has been in question ever since last weeks announcement that the games developers, Flagship Studios, were making all staff redundant and closing down development. The closing of the games servers late on Friday seems to signal the worst although officially the game is on 'hiatus'.
Rumours are circulating that Korea's HanbitSoft may be looking to pick up Mythos and develop it internally although it's unknown what such a move may mean for the game.
The future of Hellgate: London, Flagship's other game is also in doubt. While no new subscriptions are currently being processed the games servers remain up and running, for the moment.
