This is Vegas has been pushed back into 2009, according to the latest word out of the States this afternoon from publisher Midway.

This is Vegas will still be shown-off by the firm at E3 in LA later this month, but clearly the new action title will benefit from a little extra development time.
"Midway is committed to developing and publishing the best quality products," the company groaned, in a new statement announcing the slippage.
"It is important for us to make sure the game was given the development time needed in order to make This is Vegas a triple-A videogame and a must-have for all PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC owners."
