Xbox 360 price cut in Australia
All three models reduced
Microsoft have announced plans to cut the price of the Xbox 360 console in Australia.

The Arcade pack will fall from 399 AUD to 349 AUD, the Xbox 360 Pro from 579 AUD to 499 AUD and the Elite from 729 AUD to 649 AUD.
A US price-cut is also expected to emerge in the weeks leading up to E3 in LA, while Microsoft assure us this price-slashing has nothing to do with the competition.
"We’d had a pretty good track record of - wherever possible - passing along savings to the consumer," Microsoft Australia’s Jeremy Hinton told Gamespot.
"So with the recent currency fluctuations as well as some cost savings we’ve been able to make, we thought that the July period was a perfect time to pass those along to the consumer for people looking to lay by for Christmas."
