Top Gun theme rocks Guitar Hero

New free downloadable announced

The Top Gun Anthem is to be the latest addition to Guitar Hero III, the new track being offered up from this Thursday, we're told.

The tune will be delivered in celebration of Independence Day, and will therefore be entirely free, European gamers given access to the track in addition to patriotic Americans.

The downloadable will be entirely instrumental, and a free tune for GHIII is of course always appreciated so, err, thanks Activision. For that.
