New deal a-go-go
UK game makers Splash Damage have forged a new partnership with Fallout 3 developers Bethesda.
Splash Damage cut their teeth on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and have a pedigree in creating multiplayer action titles. The studio are also responsible for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
Described as a "long-term development partnership", details are scant on what SD will actually do with Bethesda. That hasn't put the stoppers on a cheery press quote, however.
"This could not be a more perfect fit," chimed in Vlatko Andonov, President of Bethesda Softworks.
"We are extremely impressed with Splash Damage and the quality titles they produce. They are highly creative and innovative, and have demonstrated a high level of dedication to their projects. We are confident that gamers everywhere will be thrilled with the offerings from this collaboration."
