Retailers fear shortages
Despite frankly crazy European prices, UK retailer GAME report that they are struggling to meet demand for Rock Band and its associated music peripherals.
The game is out this Friday across the continent, and the retailer fears they will be unable to meet intense demand. 180 GBP gets you the game, a mic, the guitar and a drum kit; with pre-orders exhausting stocks in some stores.
"As with other hugely innovative and popular titles like Guitar Hero and Wii Fit, Rock Band is creating enormous interest from a new range of customers," GI.biz reports a representative as revealing.
"This has meant that some of our stores have had to stop taking pre-orders because their launch stock of the Band in a Box pack has already been ordered."
EA promise new stocks following the game's debut.
