Battlefield Heroes beta nears

Sign-up now in progress

The Battlefield Heroes closed beta test is nearly upon us, developers DICE now beginning to collect the names of those interested in taking part in the secret stage of the beta.

Those lucky enough to be accepted will help DICE and EA test for bugs and more ahead of an open beta later this year, at which everyone will be given access to the new shooter. You can sign-up via the link above.

The game will be free to play, DICE funding the online action offering via ads and micro-transactions. Such games are already huge business in South Korea and Japan, EA dipping their toe via this venture.

More on Battlefield Heroes soon, we hope.
