WiiWare looms over Europe

Eight games revealed

The service launched in America yesterday, and is already out in Japan, Nintendo today detailing their European WiiWare launch plans.

LostWinds is the main release, as is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King from Square Enix, although eight games will be released in Europe on May 20th.

US releases Defend your Castle and V.I.P Casino: Blackjack won't be available in PAL areas initially, however Europe will grab Dr. Mario & Germ Buster, Pirates: The Key of Dreams, Star Soldier R, and Toki Tori.

These new offerings will be sold via the Wii Shop channel, and though no pricing was mooted by Ninty, we do expect it to be the same as the US and Japanese debuts.
