New PC music game Audiosurf will be getting a soundtrack provided by UK record label Aardvark, we learn this morning.

160 songs from artists including ahel, Zetan Spore, Jeff Alford, Eric M and Little Spitfire will be provided by the label.

Audiosurf makes use of MP3's to create rollercoaster-esque tracks of sound, which players ride along, collecting icons and grouping colours. Its all about rhythm.

The game uses any MP3's, but this deal will see Aadvark promoting their artists by integrating proper branding, artwork and other links into Audiosurf.

"The appeal of the platform was that self-evident. Audiosurf has to be one of the most addictive games I've come across in a long time," offered label director Alex di Savoia.

"I've played the game using everything I could throw at it: Bjork, Tiesto, Frank Sinatra, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Earth Wind and Fire and our own Zetan Spore and Yahel."
