A brand new developer leaped-forth into the limelight this week, Giant Bite taking a giant step into existence, founded by Hamilton Chu and Michael Evans, formerly important developers on Halo and Halo 2 at Bungie. Andy Glaister of Microsoft also joins and was formerly a major developer of the Windows gaming platform. Finally, Steve Theodore, Half-Life and Counter-Strike crafter, most recently of Zipper Interactive completes the founding quartet. Between them these founders have helped create several pivotal gaming moments in recent years, and say their new company will be a "next generation game development studio focusing on the creation of excellent games and a fun workplace."

The developer are currently debating their first project, but given the past experience of the new chiefs, Giant Bite should certainly have no trouble generating interest from major publishers.

"We're proud of our work at Bungie, Microsoft and Zipper" enthused Michael Evans, "It was amazing to work with such fantastic teams on games that turned out so successfully. And now, we're excited to build something of our own."

"Giant Bite will keep the traditions of world class production values and cohesive game play. We see a great opportunity to build the sort of company that we always wanted to work for" added Andy Glaister. More soon.
