The recent Playstation annual meet in Tokyo has thrown up a few new games currently in development for Sony's landmark handheld. A few previously known titles do appear on the extensive list, such as EA's Burnout, but in the main many of the seventy-five titles confirmed are exactly that – which is rather ipmressive.

Highlights include a Tony Hawk's game, Winning Eleven 8, Harvest Moon, Formula One 04 – as well as previously confirmed titles such as Wipeout, Death Jr., and Gran Turismo – means that things are looking decidedly rosy for Sony's forthcoming debutant.

Couple this roster (sadly lacking in concrete release date news, at this point in time) with the Nintendo DS titles already announced, and handheld gamers will never have had it so good. Here's the list in full:

The PSP sounds very good and will cost $185, but the games will cost around $50. I'd rather get the DS because the games are a lot cheaper.
