EA have made it clear that they are less than impressed with the current state of Nokia's gaming platform, N-Gage.

Speaking at Nokia's N-Gage Summit, Director Worldwide OEM, Peter Parmenter and Chris Gibbs, Executive Producer from EA did not hold back on pointing out the system's shortcomings, T3 reports.

Parmenter said the Apple iPhone delivers a "great eco-system for the distribution of great quality games", but suggested that N-Gage could sometimes provide a more disjointed experience in comparison.

He added that N-Gage is trying hard to fix its "stifled retail experience" and that games have been selling at the wrong prices for the market.

Gibbs suggested that the platform had "quite a few challenges to solve", referencing compatibility problems between constantly improving handsets.

So don't go throwing that N-Gagement party just yet.
