Fable 2 problems fixed
Abbot quest issues resolved
Sam Van Tilburgh, community manager at Lionhead, has revealed to Kotaku that the developer have now updated Fable 2 with a patch resolving the issues experienced by some players of the game's Abbot quest.
The game previously crashed if player's walked away during the middle of one of the segment's cut-scenes. Van Tilburgh also promises that Limited Edition purchasers still awaiting DLC codes should receive these today.
More tweaks and fixes are also in bound, by the sound of things: "We’re keeping a close eye on our forums, while a lot of the issues reported are not issues with the game necessarily, some of them are (like the two examples mentioned in my blog) however and so we’re looking at those, plus some (like the Abbot Quest) have been fixed already.
"The biggest issue is when people report a show stopping issue on our forums without enough information for us to reproduce it. Regarding the ETA for said patch, there is no news yet."

i am about three hours into it and i am stuck in a "skip conversation" thing. I can't use the A button for anything because all it doesn't is act like it is going to skip a conversation that i am not having. other problems with not being able to end conversations with people so for awhile i wasn't able to use the Y button because all i did was look at what this guy though of me. very frustrating trying to buy a house or examine properties because you have to stand in a certian spot or it wont read. last thing i have found i bought and sold alot of houses and businesses and there is one in oakfarm or whatever that it wont let me sell.
Fable 2 has soooooo many bugs for me. Right now I can't go to the Brightwood region because it will lock up my Xbox super hard. DON'T DO THE BLIND DATE QUEST! This lock happens in the middle of that quest.
Fable 2 is just another example of microsofts retardedness. The game locks up every where. I was playing for several hours really enjoyed the game and all of a sudden, the game freezes. Now when i start the game it freezes to a white screen just after the lionhead icon. Perhaps the new Xbox download is causing the problem.
It keeps freezing every 10 mins or so and the disc is really clean and new is there something wrong with fable or is it my xbox?

For me, problems with Fable 2 started out right away. When I wanted to buy the music box the merchant was outlined in blue and I couldn't interact with him until I started a new game. Then, I had problems with it freezing anywhere if I ran too fast when its trying to load certain things. Then on the TOBY quest, my D-Pad expressions got locked on scare for the rest of the game and I couldn't even kill toby. The doors in my house wouldn't open after a while. And now its freezing within the first 10 minutes of game play, I hear if you restart it about 10 times or so it will stop freezing, but this is a bad idea because after a while it will give you the 3 rings of death. Dont do it. I love Fable, and now its gonna be retarded like this on me after I go out, be a true fan, and pay 65 bucks for a glitchy piece of crap.

Fable 2, has caused me a load of problems as well; like almost everyone else out there it seems. After forking out the 'wedge' of cash it cost to get fable 2, it had been nothing but disappointing. I was a massive fable fan and couldn't wait for fable 2, but random freezing and subsequent xbox lock ups have simply been ridiculous and tbh just not good enough. I really don't understand how they can try and shift the game when it has this many problems with it. My xbox is up t date, disk is new with no scratches, played for maybe 7 hours, got my first freeze and now it does it all the time. I cant load anything, and all my other fable games on other profiles, freeze too...
IF THEY DON'T BRING OUT A PATCH OR SOMETHING TO SORT THIS SOON, THEN ITS TRADE IN TIME. SHAME BUT TRUE NONE THE LESS.
yeah...I'm really pissed off. Everything i bought from microsoft so far including fable 2 has been an expensive piece of SH*T. I have deleted and restarted my fable2 game 6 times so far and it always ends up freezing at any random part. The disc is clean and only 2 days old. I plan on returning my game but that's not it. I'll get to the bottom of this. MICROSOFT CAN'T KEEP MAKING THERE MONEY BY RIPPING OFF PEOPLE.
Hello fellow gamers i got FABLE II for christmas.. in my opinion i think they went way too far with fable II.. maybe they shoulda chilled out with all the little nooks and crannies.. and the poor 360 can't keep up... my 360 works great for every other game... Prince of Persia is another borderline too huge of a game... be more careful.. don't fill the cup with too much water metaphor
i'm gonna trade it in at EB cause mine freezes randomly too.... frack... DON'T MAKE GAMES SOO LARGE.. THE GAME IS BEAUTIFUL... BUT NOT WHEN IT FREEZES EVERY 20 STEPS YOU TAKE...
My fable is my only not working xbox game.....
I put it into the Xbox 360 and then it starts to make a jerking noise.....
The disk surface is TOTALLY clean...I cant see any marks at all and i have had it cleaned....but alas no....

i had same problem my fable wud keep crashin right at the begining, or say unable to read disc even tho was clean and brand new.. i solved this problem by turning the HD off on my xbox and playin under normal pal-60 settings and it seems to have solved the problem. hope this helps
My fable 2 freezes when ever I finish a loading sequence or after about 10 mims. I'm going to wait for it to get fixed for about a month. If nothing is done I'm returning it to get left 4 dead. Hopefully something is done because this could be a very enjoyable game. I would reccomend lionhead to get rid of the co-op patch, replenish it, then put it back after it is WELL TESTED.
I had been waiting for Fabel 2 for like.......... a very long time i played it for a few days then it froze. Now not only does Fable 2 freez but GTA 4 and Brothers in Arms started freezing. This didnt happen intell after I got the Fable 2 Freez. I think Fable 2 has AIDS and spreads it to everything it comes in contact with. SO JUST KEEP IT AWAY FROM YOUR 360
It freezes all the time after i finished the game n decided to create a new character!!I deleted my profile to see if its fixed but its still not fixed.
Oh n i think it started happening when i updated my xbox!
Im stuck in a "cut scene" and i cant do shit. and the guy moves soooo slow and i cant get out of this "cut scene"
