Garriott back on Earth, as is his game

New Tabula Rasa update deploys as Garriott touches down

As Tabula Rasa creator Richard Garriott returns to Earth following a 30 million USD to trip to the international space station with Russian cosmonauts, so his MMO game is also back on Earth.

Deployment 15 takes Tabula Rasa to Earth for the first time, players joining an armed resistance-style struggle again alien invaders. The game's evil 'Bane' race were thought to have ravaged the planet - Caprica - but it appears a few vestiges of hope persist.

Combat in ruined cities (New York has been spied) is the dish of the day, and there will be epic control point gameplay for level 48 to 50 players. New foes, mechs, armour and more are mooted.

"I'm fresh and ready to go - again," Garriott beamed upon touch-down in Kazakhstan. "What a great ride that was."
