Chatting with Ausgamer, Prince of Persia's animation director has delivered yet another hint that Assassin's Creed 2 is in development at Ubisoft Montreal. Right now.

David Wilkinson told the website that Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed animator Alex Drouin, was presently engaged "getting Altair to swim".

A new Assassin's Creed was of course never in doubt, Ubisoft chief Yves Guillemot having hinted at the game previously; although the status of the sequel remains unofficial, and unclear.

"He’s busy making Altair even more beautiful," revealed Wilkinson. "Last thing I saw him do was getting Altair to swim."

More on this chit-chat as we get it.

Altair again? Kinda dissapointed. I thought the story would be more important than the character. But yeah, a trilogy is pretty much confirmed methinks.

Altair is was too cool. They left it so unfinished I am glad they are using him again.

I thing the story of Altair should continue in the future, real time. At the end of the game people were trying to get to atair to save or kill him. He should continue to assasenate those sutes that are trying to get all the articfacts whit cool weaponry.
