Such are the wholesale improvements being made to the PlayStation 3 version of Atari's Alone in the Dark, that the publisher and Eden have conspired to give the game a new name, Alone in the Dark: Inferno.

The Xbox 360 version held a lot of promise, but it was spoiled by several glaring faults, which the developer have been working very hard to fix for the game's PS3 debut.

Camera control is vastly improved, and movement in general has been overhauled. A quick access inventory is also offered, while Spectral Vision is toned down, the game in general also promises to be more 'helpful'.

The driving bits will be improved and new content has also been added. A release in November is hinted.

    i played this game and just cant understand why didnt they get the controls right shit the game took sometime with delays to come out you would think the controls are finely tuned
