Saints Row 3 already in development
Will take a new direction from SR2
Speaking with this website, Volition's associate producer Dan Sutton has revealed that while the studio are stilling finishing up Saints Row 2 ahead of an October launch, that the developer are already beginning work on Saints Row 3.
Talking about the narrative of the new sandbox action game, he revealed that Saints Row 3 will take a very different direction, and that SR2 is likely to wrap-up most of the loose-ends left over from the original game's plot.
Sutton reveals that "in SR2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We've already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can't talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There's no frustration."

SR2 was so much better then gta 4 there was nothing to do in gta 4 that is why gta 4 is so boring.
i hope they keep the activities and the other new stuff that was in sr2 and put it in sr3 with alot more activities and lets hope there is alot of single player acheivements and lets hope there is splitscreen for activities and missions. This game eas so much for fun. SR2 will always be better then gta 4, gta 4 was a letdown, it was a bad game.
why do you guys want to know about SR3 so badly? the secound one just came out.

i know people are craving to know about sr3, it's like people wanting to know about the next saw movie.
By the way barnstorming is when you fly between buildings with a helicopter or other flying transport.

Saints row 2 is way more fun to play after you beAt it than the first. i'm sill playing the second but SR 3 is something i want to know more about. like i want to know what dex does and where he went and stuff. and it would be sweet if theres a mission in the third that you attack dex or something.
Saints row 2 is awesum! heaps better than the original, and far better gameplay than gta4!
Sr2 is fun to play and you can explore everywhere straight away-i have no doubt Sr3 will be great and could dethrone GTA5.

SR2 was cool, just finished it, only bought it on Tuesday, i am hooked, the only problem with both SR & SR2 was the amount of Police activity, hopefully there won't be as much in SR3 as it got very annoying when they started chasing you for the slighest thing, also while the clothing was cool in SR2 i would have liked to have seen a lot of the clothing from the original as well as certain vehicles from the first, all thgis aside, this was the bestest game i have played in a long while and i've been gaming since 1978
i think there should be a policeman outfit that you can buy in saints row 3 because in saints row 2 you had to make a police outfit and it was hard because i couldnt find a beat cop hat.
in saints row 2 and saints row 1 there are 2 islands that make stilwater and theres like a road and a train bridge that takes you there from like the suburbs district to saints row district. so near the saints row district i think there should be a third island.that is a road for cars and a traintrack for trains.and maybe a fifth gang so you can make more missions.
in saints row 1 johnny gat was hit with a shotgun. and saints row 2 he was stabbed with a katana so whatever happens to him in saints row 3 i hope he lives. i think troy and dex should have more story in saints row 3. and i think there should be some new cars like a dune buggy.
i think there should be bmx bikes on saints row 3 and more voice options like a biker voice or an old mans voice and an old ladys voice.i think there should be something like the activity fuzz but without a timer and you had to use a cheat to unlock a chainsaw so maybe on saints row 3 you can either buy it or unlock it
in saints row 2 i found it hard to kill julius [sorry if spelt wrong] and in saints row 2 you get to unlock troy as a homie so maybe in saints row 3 troy should betray the police and help you instead of killing him.

i think that there should be a game in saints row 3 called pimp uprising like zombie uprising but using pimps.
I hope in they keep the over-the-topness that made saints row 2 so great and don't pull a gta 4
i have never played SR1 but SR2 was seriously owning compared to GTA4. The clothing, activities and storyline on SR2 are sweet. I also hope that SR3 will really let you wear everything. The NPCs are wearing like the police uniform and especially the swat uniform.
are the carnales coming back? because on sr2 i saw a carnales tag in a warehouse.
i hope sr2 takes place in stilwater like sr1 and sr2.
if the vice kings come back i think they should be a differnt colour than yellow.
