Californian writers Jonathan Bissoon-Dath and Jennifer Barrette-Herzog are in the process of suing Sony and designer David Jaffe, alleging their ideas were copied in the making of hit game series God of War.

The pair apparently sent a Greek myth inspired pitch to Sony Pictures, including a screenplay, not to mention agents reportedly linked to Sony Computer Entertainment. This was back in 2002.

Several points of similarity are recorded, while Jaffe has previously stated the first God of War took three years, and was released in 2005.

Both Sony and the game designer deny all allegations. We'll keep you posted as this case unfurls.
