A chink in the armour, or just a tiny hiccup? Either way, GTA IV has relinquished its grip on the Xbox Live popularity chart, plummeting from first to third in the space of a week.

Major Nelson's Live popularity chart once again sees Call of Duty 4 back in at number one, Halo 3 also leap-frogging Rockstar's opus to take second.

GTA IV is then third, followed by Guitar Hero III and Gears of War.

Rock Band is doing well as sixth, followed by Rainbow Six Vegas 2, FIFA 08, Forza 2 and - lastly - the demo for GRID.

    thats because gta didnt live up to the hype. there was way too much missing. with the amount of delays the game went through i was expecting more.
