Far Cry 2 multiplayer could take on CoD

Ubisoft appear to be setting their sights on Call of Duty 4's multiplayer crown with Far Cry 2, one of the most promising titles in the publisher's line-up on show at Ubidays in Paris this week.

Word in from the showcase today informs us that the FPS will include a 16-player online mode, in addition to a fully-realised promotion system and incentives for success.

If all this sounds familiar, that's because it is, these killer feature already present in Activision's Xbox Live-leading Call of Duty 4.
