Having proclaimed sales victory over the PS3 in Europe, with 55% of GTA IV copies sold on Xbox 360, Microsoft also state that they have taken North American as well - claiming that 60% of games sold were for the 360.

The official Gamerscoreblog cite their own figures as confirming the victory. "According to retailers more than 60% of all GTA games sold in the first week were the Xbox 360 version," states a new post on that website.

The team also reveal that 360 sales were up 54% with the release of GTA IV, 40% of consoles accompanied by a copy of Rockstar's new opus.

GTA IV is also the most popular game on Xbox Live presently, topping previous leader Call of Duty 4 by some margin. More shortly.

my thoughts exactly, since there are so many more 360's out there, this percentage is flawed...
