Not only will American rockers Aerosmith have a new edition of Guitar Hero dedicated to them, we also learn that the band have signed a deal tying them to Guitar Hero exclusively. This means no Aerosmith in Rock Band.

"I can say that we do have the band exclusively, and their catalogue should be exclusive to us beyond the one or two tracks they had licensed out to Rock Band before we made our deal," Acti music boss Tim Riley told Newsweek.

One track - Train Kept A-Rollin' - was included in Rock Band initially, but no further tunes will be added as DLC from what we can gather.

The Guitar Hero release dedicated to the group will arrive in June on PS3, PS2, 360 and Wii, promising loads of songs, and a little on the band's history, too.
