Transformers director Michael Bay won't be getting away with calling Alone in the Dark's Uwe Boll a "sad being", not if the German game-movie maker has his way.

Boll wants to fight Bay in a boxing match, and he challenged the director via a YouTube message. Boll said he was upset because he "does care about him" and wants the tussle to take place in Las Vegas later this year.

Boll wants to duke it out over 12 rounds, and says the fight will be broadcast on 'pay-per-view'. "With the money he has for his movies, he sucks big-time," Boll added.

Boll has of course suffered some seriously poor feedback surrounding his movie creations, like Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead and BloodRayne... but then Bay's Pearl Harbour was hardly a masterpiece, either.

Boll's latest flick, Postal, is out next month in the USA.
