'Legendary' film director Uwe Boll has revealed to MTV that he tried to get the rights to create a World of Warcraft movie from Blizzard.

Blizzard were less than overcome by Boll's overtures, it would seem, the director admitting that COO Paul Sams said: "We will not sell the movie rights, not to you... especially not to you."

Boll is of course infamous for directing epic gaming-film flops like Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead, BloodRayne and Dungeon Siege.

A movie based on Crytek's Far Cry is due out soon, another critical panning is expected, while gamers have never learned to love his cinematic conversions.

"Because it's such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it," commented Boll.

UWE BOLL SHOULD LEAVE WOW AND DO NINJA ASSAULT.

World Of Warcraft is not Uwe Bolls film project but I think he should do the movie based on the arcade shooting game Ninja Assault.
The film will be set in feudal Japan 1620 when the evil Shogun master kidnaps two girls and marry's them for his resurrection and the only hope is three ninjas and a American solder and his bounty hunters must save the girls and to hunt down the evil Kagai at all cost.
Ninja Assault will be American low budget of $14 million and Boll should make this movie and leave out WoW.
    Thank You.
