With only two days to go until launch, Nintendo are once again the firm behind the 'sold out' signs, love nor money failing to secure you a copy of Wii Fit ahead of Friday's debut.

Yes, first it was the Wii, and now its the Wii's new 'must have' peripheral, the balance board and the fitness 'game' (is that what it is?) itself.

The likes of Play.com, Game, Zavvi and Amazon all state that they won't be able to deliver on launch day and can't guarantee anything until new stocks begin arriving.

It is unclear whether high street retailers will be similarly blighted but given the lifestyle accessory status the new gizmo has already achieved it would be a fairly safe bet to say that stocks are going to be tight.
