Tom Clancy flying game is HAWX
Stands for something silly, apparently
Ubisoft's new air-combat title, first mooted some time ago, will be called Tom Clancy's HAWX - we learn this morning.
Ubi's Bucharest studio are developing, and the game will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
HAWX will support instant-action co-op fun for up to four players, 16-player online battles, and all in all the gritty style is reminiscent of a Clancy-fied Top Gun.
HAWX stands for High Altitude Warfare X, and the plot is set in 2012 where private corporate armies are found battling for supremacy.
Futuristic planes will be used, boasting technology to aid flying, shooting and prevent crashes.
A release this autumn is on the cards, hot-shots.
