MMO world-beaters Blizzard have today revealed that tickets for this summer's Invitational event will go on sale this Thursday. The Worldwide Invitational will take place in June.

The event, which drew a huge sold-out crowd to LA last year, will be held at the Porte de Versailles Exposition Centre on June 28th and 29th. Hands-on opportunities with StarCraft II and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King are planned.

Blizzard also have a habit of unveiling secret projects at these events.

"The previous Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals have provided great opportunities for us to meet with players and share some incredible gaming experiences with them," explained Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime. "We're looking forward to bringing this event to Paris for the first time and offering an exciting show for everyone attending."

Tickets will cost 55 GBP a go, and you'll need to be 16 or over to attend.

You can ready yourself for the excitement via the official site.
