Earlier today, eagle-eyed forumites spotted that HMV.com are running dating and pricing for the PS3's forthcoming PlayTV service - however Sony have moved quickly to deny the accuracy of the product listing.

The online retailer state that the game will be out on March 28th, costing 99.99 GBP.

The digital tuner attachment for the PS3 promises to turn the console into a media hub, allowing you to pause and record TV broadcasts. The new offering is due out in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK this year.

Quite where HMV get there information is a mystery - however Eurogamer.net, who this week checked out Sony's service in-depth, reckon the system is likely to be out later than March, but should be cheaper.

We'll keep you posted.
