The system-selling Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be released in PAL regions in late March, according to the latest word from Sony this week. Exact dates and prices remain a mystery.

A release date of March 28th was previously hinted in a leaked release schedule, the same information mooting a price of 24.99 GBP here in the UK.

European plans remain unconfirmed, then, while the Prologue edition will be released stateside on April 17th - again no pricing hints, however.

Will Europe get this PSN release prior to the US? It would certainly make a change, although we won't be holding our breath.

GT5 Prologue will offer a taster of what's coming in the full Gran Turismo 5 release - complete with online play, though a somewhat smaller roster of cars and tracks.
