Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is bolstered further today with word that more downloadable content is now available for the billion-dollar rhythm-action game, via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

A 'Classic Rock' pack has been made available for both platforms, offering up Boston’s ‘Piece of Mind,’ Foreigner’s ‘Juke Box Hero,’ and Journey’s ‘Any Way You Want It.’ Quite why Journey wasn't included in the game to start with remains a mystery.

Apparently, GHIII has now seen over 5 million downloads, making packs like this big business for Activision, who already regard Guitar Hero as billion-dollar series.

The likes of Beastie Boys, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, and The Rolling Stones are already 'in the box'. More shortly.
