Age of Conan delayed
Funcom push back
Funcom have revealed today yet further slippage to the eagerly-awaited Conan MMO, called of Age of Conan, which the online specialist developer now hopes to have ready for the 20th of May.
The mythologically inspired persistent world title was originally scheduled for March, but Funcom have pushed it back to ensure a better quality product, using the time for stress-testing and bug-bashing.
Word on the Xbox 360 version isn't forthcoming, so the status of this release remains unclear, the developer keen to focus on the PC version, which will presumably be released first. It is worth noting that this delay could see Age of Conan coming up against Warhammer Online. Which would be an interesting tussle, to say the least.
We'll bring you more on all this as we get it.
