With the first map pack for Halo 3 now out the door, offering new maps Standoff, Rat's Nest and Foundry for 800 Microsoft Points, developer Bungie have now turned their attentions to their next DLC offering.

Another map pack will be next on the agenda, Bungie promising to reveal new details "once they are ready for the general public to see." That said, the developer concedes that "it's up to Microsoft how that information is disseminated."

One of the maps in the new pack could be Moon Base Alpha, from what we hear. "It's received some new lighting and different switches to enable and disable access to various parts of the map," Bungie reveal, adding that its a rather tough map likely to appeal to fans Elongation.

Future maps will also include water, according to word from the developer, who aren't revealing anything else just yet. We'll keep you posted.
