A range of new Sega-published games will be released on Valve's content delivery service Steam, according to word in this afternoon.

Sega hope to increase the exposure of their PC releases via distribution on the on-demand Steam network, with the following games all on the way: Universe at War: Earth Assault, The Golden Compass, Sega Rally and Football Manager. We also learn that existing Steam releases such as Medieval II and Rome: Total War, will now be available worldwide, not just in North America.

Sega Rally is of course out now, while The Golden Compass and Universe at War are likely to hot town in December.

More Steamyness soon.
