Next Resident Evil movie to be animated
Fourth film to be computer-animated
Capcom have today revealed a new collaboration with Sony Pictures Japan that will see a new CG-based Resident Evil film created.
Biohazard: Degeneration will be the name of the new computer created flick, and it will be the first animated installment of the series made for the silver screen. So far, three Resident Evil/Biohazard films have been made, starring Milla Jovovich, but live-action will this time give way to CG based visuals - perhaps in a bid to appease the critics disappointed by the film series to-date.
The new flick could be released to coincide with the rather lovely looking fifth Resident Evil game - heading to the PS3 and Xbox 360 in late 2008 or 2009.
We'll bring you more on this cinematic outing, and its interactive counterpart, as we get it.

Well. . . i think that this new movie will be a smash just like the last three... and if anyone says otherwise... you are either a hater for resident evil... or you don't know your arse from your elbow!
I think all 3 Resident Evil movies are great!!
i like the second one the best. it is really cool how jill is on the movie, and she wears the same outfit off resident evil 3 the game!
Okay the all 3 RE movies were not so bad. But they were quite different from the Capcom scenario for the all biohazard games...like a parallele story.
But now, with this new Biohazard "animated" movie, we're back again in the story. We're totally in! Yeah we meet again the awesome Leon and the cute Chris' lil' sister. I can't wait to watch this "bomb"...and I'm wondering, will we have another movie of that kind with...Rebecca? xD
