The new RPG will be crafted by developers Tri-Ace, the people behind such offerings as Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean. The new title is being built for the Xbox 360.
We don't much about the story, at present, but were are told that situational battles will form a key part of the gameplay, these instances sounding like interactive scripted sequences, such as forging an escape while being chased by an ogre or dodging tidal waves as they crash down on you. Combat, exploration and interaction will all take place in real-time, and we're promised a seamless adventure as a result - with everything remaining grounded in the rich environment we're being promised.
More on this as we get it.
