Adventure game classic Myst is on the way to the Nintendo DS handheld, having already proved its worth on the PSP last year. The Cyan-developed puzzler is credited with kick-starting the 'interactive movie' genre, a particular brand of video-heavy games that were popular in the 90s after the advent of CD-ROM drives.

Myst for the DS will be rebuilt to take advantage of the unique controllers on offer through the platform, and there will be the New and Rime Ages to explore as well. The graphics and other-worldly locales have always been one of the fundamental highlights of the series, as well as puzzles and plotlines that cross and twist into decidedly complex wholes.

As well as the re-emergence of Myst in recent years as a cult title, there's also an online game called Uru, which is popular among older gamers (and, dare I say it, Old Skool Mac users). More on this as we get it.
