With 38,000 gamers attending Makuhari Messe on the edge of Tokyo for the Square Enix Party 2007, anticipation was naturally high that one of the world's most important game makers would pull a few rabbits out of the hat - even beyond the games rumoured and then confirmed prior to the showcase.

While the only footage shown of the Kingdom Hearts series was a montage of past moments in the big-selling series, Square Enix did promise a full unveilment from the Tokyo Games Show 2007, due to take place this September. Something for next-gen consoles is inevitably anticipated, with Disney also said to be keen for a third game to emerge.
