Nintendo of America have been doing their usual ungodly-hour updates to the US Virtual Console service, adding Castlevania, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Shockman to the game download platform.

Castlevania and Mystical Ninja, from the NES and SNES respectively, have both already been released on the PAL Virtual Console, and cost 500 and 800 Wii points a-piece. Castlevania will have you platform-battling your way through Dracula's castle, while Mystical Ninja is all about exploration, puzzling and mini-games - culminating in some fairly hefty boss face-offs.

Shockman is the third addition this week, and arrives courtesy of the TurboGrafx-16 costing 600 Wii points. An eight-stage 2D platformer featuring leaping and shooting is on the cards, and there's also a two-player mode thrown in for good measure.

A PAL region update will inevitably usher in some more new games this Friday.
