Shade is an impressive looking third-person action title being developed by Black Element Software under the watchful eye of owners Bohemia Interactive and publisher Cenega.

Ferrago: I gather the game journeys through a number of places and times, please enlighten us more.

JM: There are many different locations in the game – towns, castles, military bases, etc. They are indeed located in different countries, but that doesn’t play a crucial role for the story of the game. The main character is travelling through time and space thanks to magical gates build with the use of magical artefacts. Both indoor and outdoor locales offer up plenty of challenges for the eager game player,

Ferrago: What impact do Black Element owners Bohemia Interactive (Operation Flashpoint) have on the game?

JM: The Black Element Software team is a separate part of the Bohemia Interactive Studio. Although the team is kept separate and it has its own technology BIS supports the Shade team in many ways, e.g. with the motion capture technology and their vast experience. It is Bohemia Interactive Studio that is responsible for the final look of the game and therefore I’m sure that they will make sure the final product will meet the necessary quality. Many regard BIS as one of the world’s premier development teams so we believe quality assurance is guaranteed with Shade: Wrath of Angels.

Ferrago: Who is the main character in Shade, and what perspectives can we ply the game from?

JM: Primarily it is third person perspective game. That’s why 90% of the game will be seen from that perspective. But there will also be short moments of FPP gameplay and the player will be able to see the main character in numerous cut-scenes. Apart from that we decided not to implement any strange camera modes.

Can't wait to see this game live.

Heard a lot about this title and hope they have an interesting cast and that they all have different attack methods. We have yet to see a really creepy, high action, PC games! The screens looks very atmosphere.
