We sat down with Keith Chegwin, British TV stalwart and voyeur telly-flasher, to see just how excited he is about Cheggers' Party Quiz, which is due out on the Wii, PS2 and PC in time for Christmas.

How did you get involved in Oxygen's quiz game, and what persuaded you to put your name to the new game?

Believe it or not - I’m a great fan of technology and interactive media and have done many techno based ideas in the past. I did think about doing a DVD version years ago – but never had the time. When Oxygen mentioned the idea to me – I was so up for it and now I just want to get it out there and see what the public think.

How closely does working on a game compare to your extensive TV experience?

It’s similar to TV – But TV can sometimes water down ideas.

However, on this game I’ve had a free reign and a real chance to be creative - the team at Oxygen have been a pleasure to work with. For example - on the voice over side – they just let me get on with it and by gosh did we have a laugh... we did 900 voice overs in about 3 hours – bloody quick ‘cos we were having such fun.

Have you played the game much yourself, and if so, how highly did you score!

Yes I have played it and I did rather well (brag brag). But I won’t tell my score yet as I’m thinking of running that as a competition question for the press... might let you have a guess though!

How much of your own charms went into the fabric of the new game?

Oh that’s a toughie... errrrrr! All of my charm went into it and as I’m sure you can see from the screen grabs – also my good looks and fine physique!

Have you played a Nintendo Wii? What did you make of it?

Yes I have played Nintendo Wii – and loved it – Wii Tennis was great but Wii Golf was dangerous. I haven’t bought one as yet - but my little boy Ted is now 9 – so it might be an extra Christmas present for him!

Can you see yourself in other forms of interactive entertainment in the future? Cheggers' Alien Invasion perhaps, or Cheggers' turn-based WWII Strategy Epic?

That would be my ultimate dream! Love the idea of ‘The Alien Cheg Invasion’ - turning people into ME! I’m gonna speak to Oxygen - I’ve got to do it!

The game is out this Christmas, will you play it with your family?

Yes! It will be compulsory for everyone (including the family) who comes to my house over the Christmas period to Challenge Cheggers to Cheggers Party Quiz in the lounge at my game!

You're sometimes described as the hardest working man on TV, how did you find time to work on this new game?

I have to admit I am kept busy with work – but I don’t sleep much as my brain is always on the go. I just love my job and I’ve loved every minute of working on this. I get so excited by ideas and creativity and this has been so stimulating for me – so I made time and hopefully people will enjoy playing it. Can’t wait to see what people think of it.

What's your favourite 'Cheggersesque' aspect of the game?

The character. I know it’s me - popping in and out – sometimes he can be a bit rude and cheeky to people playing the game, and that makes me laugh…

Lastly, the girls in the office would like to know what inspired you to expose yourself on national television?

It certainly wasn’t the money! I thought it would be a laugh, but alas, no one else did… my mother hasn’t forgiven me yet. I have promised from now on to keep me clothes on at all times – even at home!

Thanks for your time Keith!

Thank you too! Wey hey!
